Master's students of "International Management" create multiple-choice questions for VR quiz game

Over the summer semester of 2024, students in the “International Management” master's degree course at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences created a level for the "Bridge of Knowledge" VR mobile app. This quiz was developed by a team led by Prof. Dr. Christina Sanchez-Stockhammer (now at TU Chemnitz, formerly at LMU Munich). It bundles various levels with questions on general knowledge, focusing on academic topics.

After having read seven renowned books on intercultural theories, concepts and models, the students from the “International Competencies: Intercultural Cooperation and Communication” module formed seven multicultural teams to develop 70 multiple-choice questions. UAS Aschaffenburg professor Dr. Renate Link and Professor Sanchez-Stockhammer coached the AUAS students while they formulated questions and answers for the VR quiz.

This is what the game looks like when you are wearing your VR-goggles.

The game aims to cross the “Bridge of Knowledge”. To do this, several multiple-choice questions must be answered correctly. If the answers are correct, players progress along the bridge. If they are incorrect, they fall into a VR canyon. The special feature of the app is that there is a "fear of heights mode" without falling.

If you want to test your knowledge of “Intercultural Basics” (the name of the level), you can download the app to your smartphone for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and start the quiz straight away – even without VR goggles.
