Mercuri Testimonials

Julia Korn, CRM Campaign Manager at Hugo Boss AG in Germany (Mercuri 2)

  • Julia Korn, Mercuri graduate

“The experiences of the Mercuri programme have taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and face the challenges that come with leaving home to live, study, and now work full time."

I was able to learn about the various cultures in the places we stayed and learn how to foster relationships with people who are not from the same background as I.

Julia Korn

"This inevitably helped me now that I am part of an extremely international team of people who see the world in different ways yet can come together to ensure the best product and experience for our clientele. A personal highlight of mine was being able to gain a plethora of connections and new friends that I am still in contact with to this day. Without the programme I may not be where I am now, experiencing new people and challenges every day while growing personally and professionally.”

Juan Carlos Bianchi, Fairphone, The Netherlands (Mercuri 2)

“I am currently working as an e-commerce specialist at Fairphone, a position that I could not have achieved without my Mercuri experience."

The programme helped me understand modern marketing and customer trends, which I apply often in my job to improve the customer journey on the online store I work on.

Juan Carlos Bianchi

“Mercuri also gave me amazing friends and connections in Europe, teaching me important lessons on networking and on living on my own. The highlight of the programme was the amazing time I spent with my classmates and all the memories we made together.”

Tran Pham, AI Annotator, Marketing Specialist, Meta, Dublin, Ireland (Mercuri 3)

  • Tran Pham, Mercuri graduate

"Seeking a new direction in my career path and a broader perspective on the world, the Mercuri programme came to me at the right time as a precious chance. Embracing it, I immersed myself in diverse cultural experiences, countries, and people—something I had never had the chance to do when I was in Vietnam."

The highly interactive teaching approach, with active engagement between students, professors, and guest lecturers, significantly enhanced my communication, persuasion, and presentation skills, especially in English.

Tran Pham

"Furthermore, the flexible curriculum, closely aligned with current global events, not only expanded my knowledge but also provided me with a more comprehensive and insightful perspective on these issues. Thanks to this I could exceed the requirements and excel in my position as a bilingual English-Vietnamese generative AI annotator, applying my cross-cultural competency in politics, culture, and society, along with my language skills, to contribute to AI training data for clients. Although this field is not directly related to the Mercuri’s major, it has greatly benefited from what I learned in the programme."

Additionally, I learnt different theories which will help me during my next professional opportunities. My internship allowed me to hone my skills CRM and gain transferable skills that are in high demand on the job market today. I also met many incredible people from different backgrounds with inspiring aspirations.”
