International Project Week at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (12-16 May 2025)

We invite you to take part in our International Project Week at TH Aschaffenburg, a valuable opportunity to work in mixed teams with international and German students on practical projects. The week offers workshops led by guest lecturers from various countries and provides insights into different professional perspectives and intercultural skills. You’ll also have the chance to join trips and site visits in and around Aschaffenburg, gaining a closer look at the region and its culture. This experience offers the chance to broaden your understanding and collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds.

Preliminary Schedule

  • End of March (for students of engineering : Virtual kick-off meeting and participant team assignments (1 hour) / 7 April 5 - 7 pm CET (virtual kick-off for business students)
  • Kick-off to 9 May: Team pre-assignment (6 hours)
  • End of March to 9 May: Online learning package (10 hours) (for workload for more than 2 ECTS)
  • 12-16 May: International Project Week on campus (student presentations, workshops with international lecturers, and interesting afternoon activities such as trips and visits) & including participation in Campus Careers on 15 May/business students 14/15 May all day (see course description)

 

Opportunity to gain 3 (IPW) or 2+ 2 (business PLV) ECTS credits

This is a great opportunity to earn the indicated ECTS credits. Successful participation in all mandatory parts of the International Project Week (virtual kick-off, team pre-assignment, online learning package, and the presentations and workshops during the week) will result in the award of respective ECTS credits specified. Students from both faculties participating will be evaluated based on their participation (pass/fail)

Fees

Students from our ERASMUS+ partner universities will not be required to pay any program or tuition fees.

The faculty of business and law is pleased to be offering a new intensive workshop on Global Business Skills in the framework of the International Project Week/this year’s Campus Careers:

Global Business Skills (PDF)

  • Kick-off: 7. April online 5-7 pm CET
  • Onsite Intensive Workshop  Global Business Skills:  14 May/15 May all day 9 – 18:00 as outlined in the course description (including a visit and an active participation and assignment in the framework of this year’s Campus Careers).
  • 12/13 May: Arrival and Social Programme & Course Integration: Guest students attending the programme will be invited to join also an attractive social programme with outings in the region and visits around the course starting Monday/Tuesday. Guest students will have a dedicated tutor and meet international students of the course Business Seminar Germany and have an outing together and meet students from the course Working across Cultures and discuss intercultural experience in a poster session.
  • For guest students joining this thematic strand, the programme officially ends on Thursday evening with a common activitiy & departures on Friday.
